In the shadow of the Grand Wash Cliffs, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Grapevine Mesa , we offer one day workshops and weekend camps for the building of unique gourd percussion instruments, special presentations of drum-based entertainment and drum circles. Whether your interest lies in the construction of a miniature djembe,  our own original design in a  frame-style drum,  the Zen-like experience of the Mayan-inspired “Ocean drum” or the soft cascade of a primitive rainstick, we can provide all of the materials, tools and instruction needed to produce your own drum in just one fun filled day! Located near Meadview, on the Arizona side of Lake Mead, Mojave Drums is a developing campground and retreat. From our primitive campground it is just minutes to Lake Mead, a short drive to the west rim of the Grand Canyon, and less than 100 miles to Las Vegas, NV, Laughlin, NV, the Hoover Dam, and Oatman, AZ.    We currently have facilities for week-end-long workshops specializing in the creation of gourd drums and other art crafts.
